Your Credit Toolbox is a Credit Management Firm dedicated to helping people repair, restore, and rebuild both personal and business credit. Founded by Barry R. Jones, Jr., a recognized personal & business credit expert and seasoned serial entrepreneur, the company exists to unlock financial freedom for everyday people and business owners.

Barry’s journey into credit management came from years in the auto and mortgage industries, where he saw firsthand how good people were being denied homes, cars, and opportunities—not because of their potential, but because of their credit. Refusing to accept that, Barry created Your Credit Toolbox: a proven system filled with tools, letters, and insider strategies designed to permanently remove the roadblocks holding people back.

With decades of leadership experience and years of credit expertise, Barry has developed a framework that delivers real results—not just temporary fixes. From deleting inaccurate items on credit reports to building strong business credit profiles that open doors to funding, Your Credit Toolbox is the go-to source for credit empowerment.

Our mission is simple:

  1. Effective & Affordable Solutions – Deliver the strongest, law-backed tools for lasting credit improvement.

  2. Education & Empowerment – Teach clients how to use credit as leverage, not a limitation.

  3. Bold & Trusted Guidance – Provide clarity, authority, and results in every step.

Whether you’re a young professional, a family rebuilding, or an entrepreneur needing business funding, Your Credit Toolbox is here to unlock your credit and your future.

Yes. You have a legal right to a credit report that is fair, accurate, and fully substantiated. Credit repair is the process of holding the credit bureaus and creditors accountable—challenging questionable negative items to make sure those three standards are met.

Several federal laws protect your rights, but the two most powerful are:

  • The Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) – Ensures transparency and protects consumers from unfair practices.

  • The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) – Gives you the right to dispute inaccurate, outdated, or unverifiable information on your report.

At Your Credit Toolbox, we don’t guess—we leverage these laws every day to fix, restore, and rebuild credit the right way.

It depends — everyone’s credit history is different. The amount of time it takes before you begin to see changes or positive improvements on your credit depends on your specific case.

At Your Credit Toolbox, we make it simple to follow every step of your credit journey. As we work with creditors and the credit bureaus on your behalf, you’ll receive regular email updates whenever there are changes to your profile.

The moment negative items are removed or improvements are made, you’ll see the results reflected directly in your credit report, which updates regularly online.

You can view your progress anytime by logging into your client dashboard through our website. This secure portal gives you 24/7 access to your credit repair progress, updates, and tools.

If you ever experience login issues or simply want extra guidance, our team is here to help—just reach out and we’ll walk you through it.

With Your Credit Toolbox, you’re never in the dark—you always know where you stand and how far you’ve come.

Frequently Asked Questions Services

Please reach us at yourcredittoolbox@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Unfortunately, credit repair is never guaranteed. What we can guarantee is that we will do everything in our power to help you achieve a fair, accurate and substantiated credit report.this item.

The timeline for The Process can vary depending on your situation and how quickly creditors and collection agencies respond to disputes. While some clients have seen results in under 30 days, other situations may take several months—sometimes 7 months or more—to fully resolve.

Every case is unique, but no matter how long it takes, the process is worth the wait. Each step brings you closer to an accurate, fair credit report and the financial freedom you’re working toward.

Absolutely. At Your Credit Toolbox, our relationship with you doesn’t end when your credit is repaired. For over 30 years, Barry R. Jones, Jr. has continued to guide clients long after the credit process—helping them arrange financing, secure credit cards, purchase cars, and even qualify for homes.

We believe that credit repair is just the first step. The true value comes in building a stronger financial future, and that’s why we stay connected to so many of our clients for years. In fact, experience has shown us that each client we help is worth far more than just one success story—because satisfied clients naturally refer friends and family who need the same results.

This long-term support is one of the reasons clients choose Your Credit Toolbox and stay with us—it’s not just about fixing your past, it’s about building your future.

Our customers pay for two things: The service and their credit reports.

The credit monitoring system we use to get your credit reports, charge a $5 (7 day) trial, then $29.99/month. We can't see your credit without this!

Our service is FREE  to start, then every 30 days for the following:
$147/month for an individual
or
$247/month for couple's

$100 set free will be waved

Apps like Credit Karma and the Experian app may be useful for a quick snapshot, but they don’t provide the full data we need. They don’t pull in complete reports from all three credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion), and because of that, we cannot use them in our system to properly track and dispute your accounts.

As much as we’d love for free apps to work, they simply don’t provide the level of detail required for professional credit repair.

If you already have a true credit monitoring service like SmartCredit, Credit Hero Score, IdentityIQ, or PrivacyGuard, we can use that and you won’t need to enroll in another service. Of these, we recommend Credit Hero Score since it tends to be the most cost-effective.

Yes—but with some important guidelines.

At Your Credit Toolbox, our direct customer support number is reserved for clients who are fully enrolled in our service. This allows us to give priority to case-specific situations and ensure that enrolled clients get the dedicated attention they deserve.

Most common questions about pricing, timeframes, and how our process works are already answered here on our website. If we opened our phone lines to every inquiry, we wouldn’t have the time needed to properly serve the clients already under our care.

If you have a question that isn’t addressed on this page, you can contact us directly or email us at info@YourCreditToolbox.com, and we’ll respond during regular business hours (Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4 PM CST).

Yes. At Your Credit Toolbox, we proudly honor those who serve our communities and our country. Veterans, active military, law enforcement officers, firefighters, and teachers all receive a 50% discount on their first payment.

We recognize that freedom and safety aren’t free—and that those who protect, serve, and educate deserve our respect and gratitude. This discount is one small way we show appreciation for the sacrifices you make every day.

You are never locked into long-term contracts with Your Credit Toolbox. You may cancel your service at any time.

When you choose to cancel, you’ll receive a confirmation notice. If any work was performed since your last billing date, a final invoice will be created for that amount. This balance is typically processed on your regular billing date unless you request it to be charged on the day of cancellation.

At Your Credit Toolbox, we believe in results and transparency—not trapping clients into contracts.

Yes. In some cases, Your Credit Toolbox may act as an affiliate with certain banks, credit card issuers, or lending partners that we recommend. This means we may receive a commission or referral fee if you choose to apply or sign up through our links.

Affiliate Disclaimer

We only recommend products and services that we believe provide real value and align with our mission of helping you repair, restore, and build strong credit. While we may earn compensation through affiliate partnerships, our recommendations are based on what we believe will benefit you—not on commissions.

At Your Credit Toolbox, we are not a telemarketing company. However, we still operate in compliance with the Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR). This means we do not engage in “cold calls” or unsolicited telephone marketing of any kind.

During enrollment, every client signs our service agreement, which authorizes us to review their credit reports and discuss their situation directly with them. This ensures full transparency, compliance, and protection for every client we serve.

For more information on the TSR, you can visit the FTC’s official page: FTC Telemarketing Sales Rule.

If you are a confirmed victim of identity theft, the first step is to contact your creditors directly and follow the procedures they require to have fraudulent accounts and inaccurate information removed.

At Your Credit Toolbox, we do not handle new identity theft cases, as they often require legal documentation and processes outside of credit management. This ensures you receive the proper legal protection while avoiding complications in resolving your case.

Frequently Asked Questions About Credit Repair

Please reach us at yourcredittoolbox@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Yes. You have the legal right to a credit report that is accurate, fair, and fully substantiated. If an account or negative item on your credit report is inaccurate, outdated, or unfair, it can be challenged, corrected, or permanently deleted by working with the credit bureaus and your creditors.

At Your Credit Toolbox, we use proven, law-backed strategies to make sure your credit reflects the truth—and nothing less.

Any negative item that is inaccurate, unfair, or unverified can legally be challenged with the credit bureaus and your creditors. This may include:

  • Collections
  • Late payments
  • Charge-offs
  • Bankruptcies
  • Repossessions
  • Liens
  • And more

At Your Credit Toolbox, we focus on permanently deleting the items that don’t belong—so your credit reflects only what is accurate and fair.

Yes. Even after an item is deleted, creditors may attempt to report it again. That’s why it’s critical to address both the credit bureaus and the creditors directly. Doing so greatly reduces the chances of inaccurate or unfair negative items resurfacing.

Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), credit bureaus are required to notify you before re-reporting any previously deleted account. If a questionable item is ever re-verified later, Your Credit Toolbox will step in to challenge it again—using the law to protect your rights and keep your report accurate.m.

You are entitled to a free copy of your credit report through AnnualCreditReport.com. However, those reports can be difficult to access, hard to download, and they do not include your credit scores.

For accuracy and ease of use, at Your Credit Toolbox we recommend IdentityIQ. Their reports are the most detailed, provide the most up-to-date information, and are simple to access anytime—making them the best choice for tracking your progress during credit repair.
